Therese Johaug and Astrid Øyre Slind started the year with a bang as they delivered a stellar performance in the Tour de Ski.

During the women's 15km pursuit in classic style, Slind won after a close sprint against Johaug, marking a significant event in the competition.

NRK's commentator Torgeir Bjørn remarked, "Tour de Ski is flipped on its head!" in the midst of the race when Slind pulled ahead...

The Norwegian duo collaborated so well that NRK experts were stunned, demonstrating a new strategy.

Johaug, who is usually viewed as the strongest, found herself working hard to keep up with Slind as they switched roles during the race. Johaug shared that their strategy ensured they maintained the highest possible speed throughout the race, and she was thrilled with the partnership, expressing great satisfaction with their teamwork.

The Tour continues with several events leading up to the conclusion in Val di Fiemme, where both Johaug and Slind are strong contenders for top places.
