Therese Johaug was untouchable at home in Lillehammer, winning the skiathlon (10 km classical followed by 10 km freestyle) with an impressive 42.6 seconds ahead of compatriot Heidi Weng and 43.1 seconds ahead of American Jessie Diggins, the current World Cup overall leader.

Already victorious in the 10 km freestyle on Friday, Johaug surged ahead, taking a significant lead before even finishing the classical segment.

In freestyle, she managed to build a lead of one minute over her competitors before easing off in the final stretch. On the French side, Flora Dolci entered the top 15 (at 2:42.6 behind) thanks to a final lap where she overtook Austrian Teresa Stadlober. Delphine Claudel finished in 26th place, four minutes behind Johaug.

Overall, the Norwegian women concluded their domestic weekend in Lillehammer on a high note, as evidenced by Johaug's remarkable performance in the skiathlon, marking a dominant display that keeps her as a key figure in international cross-country skiing.
