Therese Johaug's Revelation About Her Career Continuation

Therese Johaug has dropped hints that she might reconsider her earlier retirement announcement. Just a few weeks after her final race, Johaug expressed to Norway’s NRK that the possibility of continuing her career for the next winter Olympics seems to be growing.
She mentioned that her initial confidence of retiring had now decreased from being 99% certain about her decision. "If I was previously 99% sure I would quit, that number has fallen a bit. I must admit, I’m quite uncertain," Johaug noted.
When asked if the probability of her continuing is now perhaps at a 50-50 chance, she politely refrained from commenting, stating that by not saying anything, she wouldn’t mislead anyone and people wouldn’t speculate about her future possibilities.
Johaug made it clear that her decision must be made before early May. "In that case, there are nine months until the Olympics. I can't ponder this until the fall; a decision has to be made," she emphasized, also mentioning that national team selections will be made at that time.
