Ski de fond: Swedish Women Sweep the Classic Sprint in Oberhof

On Friday, Swedish skiers once again showcased their dominance in the Classic Sprint event held in Oberhof, Germany. Linn Svahn emerged victorious, followed by her fellow countrywomen Frida Karlsson and Jonna Sundling.

Svahn maintained her strong form from the Tour de Ski, overcoming challenges from Karlsson as they approached the final hill, and displaying her strength in the last stretch to secure her win with a time that placed her 33 seconds ahead of Karlsson and 2 minutes and 6 seconds ahead of Sundling.

In the quarterfinals, French skier Léna Quintin also performed admirably, finishing fifth in her heat but not advancing further.

This event highlights the continued prowess of Sweden in cross-country skiing, especially in sprint events.
