The withdrawals continue in the Swedish national team. Neither Frida Karlsson, Ebba Andersson, Calle Halfvarsson, nor Linn Svahn will participate in this weekend's competitions in Davos.

"Unfortunately, we are missing several stars," says national team head coach Anders Byström.

Both Ebba Andersson and Frida Karlsson announced earlier that they would not be competing in Davos, choosing instead to focus on their training.

Star Departures in the Team

However, when the lineup was announced on Tuesday, it was also confirmed that Calle Halfvarsson has withdrawn due to ongoing back issues that plagued him at the start of the season, resulting in his withdrawal from Sunday’s race in Lillehammer.

Additionally, Linn Svahn, Moa Lundgren, and Måns Skoglund will also be absent due to illness.

On Wednesday, it was also announced that Maja Dahlqvist will miss the competitions.

"Unfortunately, we are missing many of our stars for Davos, but instead, we have the opportunity to introduce some new skiers," says national team head coach Anders Byström.

Jens Burman is back on the team after recovering from a mild cold.

The program in Davos includes a sprint relay, sprint, and a 20-kilometer classic style race.
