Sweden Misses Medal – Anger Best Swede in 10 km Classic

In a dramatic and snowy race at Granåsen, Sweden found itself falling short of a medal in the 10 km classic event, with Edvin Anger emerging as the top Swedish performer, finishing in fourth place. The competition saw William Poromaa nearly clinching a medal but lost steam in the final stretch, ultimately coming in sixth.

Poromaa expressed frustration over his performance, mentioning, "I couldn't see anything; my glasses were fogged up, and it was difficult to maintain control." This race featured predominantly Norwegian competitors, concluding with a Norwegian sweep, led by Johannes Kläbo who took the gold, followed by Erik Valnes in silver and Harald Østberg Amundsen in bronze.
