Swedish cross-country skiing fans got a preview of what to expect at the World Championships as Jonna Sundling delivered a dominant performance at the Swedish Championships. Competing in the freestyle sprint, Sundling shone brightly by winning gold with a clear margin over her rivals, Emma Ribom and Johanna Hagström.

"It was a very good rehearsal ahead of the World Championships. I’m taking with me the great energy and current form," said Sundling, emphasizing her readiness for the upcoming international competition.

On the men's side, Marcus Grate emerged victorious, beating out Emil Danielsson and Adam Persson. Although Persson had a fall during the race, he managed to recover and secure the bronze medal. Notably, top competitors Maja Dahlqvist and Linn Svahn were absent from the event.

This performance underscores Sundling’s status as a strong hope for Swedish gold in the sprint at the upcoming World Championships.
