Swedish athlete Jonna Sundling was clearly the best from start to finish in the sprint event held in Davos. Mathilde Myhrvold and Julie Myhre also made it to the podium for Norway, further emphasizing Norway's strength in the event. All six Norwegian women successfully advanced from the prologue, but only Sundling, Myhrvold, and Myhre made it to the finals.

Despite a robust showing from the Norwegian team, unfortunate incidents saw Elena Rise Johnsen and Hedda Østberg Amundsen exit in their respective quarter-finals, with Ane Appelkvist Stenseth being eliminated in the semifinals. Notably, Emma Ribom from Sweden, who previously contributed to a victory in the team sprint, slipped in the quarter-finals.

Looking ahead, the sprint event will be featured in the upcoming World Championships in Trondheim this February, where Myhrvold's impressive performances this season position her well for a potential spot on the team. The remaining places are yet to be determined as numerous contests are still pending.
