Anger and Hansson Claim Victory at Trollhättan Action Week Roller Skiing

Swedish athletes Edvin Anger and Moa Hansson delivered standout performances during the Trollhättan Action Week, securing victory in the roller skiing sprint races for their respective categories.
In the men's competition, Edvin Anger showcased his exceptional talent, dominating the event from start to finish. He won the prologue, quarterfinals, semifinals, and ultimately the final race, clocking in at 3:26.13. Anger finished almost three seconds ahead of Eskil Engdahl, who took second place, while Elias Danielsson rounded out the top three. After the race, Anger expressed his delight with his performance, noting that he felt physically fit and was able to truly enjoy the racing experience.
Meanwhile, in the women's event, Moa Hansson led a Swedish sweep of the podium. She finished first with a time of 3:52.66, followed closely by her compatriots Elin Näslund and Linn Sömskar, who captured second and third respectively.
The event wasn’t without its challenges, as Calle Halfvarsson had to withdraw from the men's quarterfinal due to a knee injury, despite qualifying 28th in the initial stage of the competition. Nonetheless, the impressive victories by Anger and Hansson mark a promising beginning to the season for Swedish skiers.
