This marks Jouve's first podium appearance of the season, as he was narrowly edged out by Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo, who secured his eighth World Cup victory this winter. Klaebo demonstrated his dominance throughout the race, maintaining control from start to finish.

In the women's classic sprint, Linn Svahn celebrated her fifth World Cup win of the season, earning crucial points in the race for the Crystal Globe standings. Completing the podium were Kristine Stavaas Skistad in second place and Jonna Sundling in third.
