Protest Denied - Sweden Appeals at National Level
Ebba Andersson finished third in the 20 km classic style race at the World Cup in Holmenkollen, but it was announced after the race that she was disqualified. In response to this decision, Sweden filed a protest, which has now been denied. The Swedish Ski Federation has announced its intention to appeal the ruling at a higher level.
"I have never seen the ski federation pursue such a matter to this extent over a yellow card. It’s clear they are not satisfied with the decision," stated expert analyst Hanna Falk on Radiosporten.
