Paal Golberg triumphed in the 20 km mass start event in Canmore, Canada, on Sunday, notching his tenth career victory in World Cup competition. The 33-year-old Norwegian showcased his remarkable sprinting prowess amidst a tightly contested race where no athletes were able to establish a significant lead.

Golberg's performance not only secured him the win but also ensured a Norwegian sweep of the podium. Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo finished in second place, with Matthis Stenshagen taking third. The current World Cup leader, Harald Oestberg Amundsen, rounded out the Norwegian dominance by finishing fourth.

The highest-placed French skier was Jules Chappaz, who claimed the 15th position. His teammates, Jules Lapierre and Hugo Lapalus, finished in 17th and 26th place, respectively, while Richard Jouve crossed the finish line in 29th.
