Norwegian dominance was on full display in the individual 10 km skating race at Cogne, Italy. Harald Östberg Amundsen, aged 26, returned in impressive form after having to leave the Tour de Ski due to illness a month earlier, clinching his fourth World Cup win this winter. He finished ahead of his Norwegian teammates Iver Tildheim Andersen (+11.7 seconds) and Martin Löwström Nyenget (+15.7 seconds) in a clean sweep of the podium.
On the French side, a tight shooting performance saw them group together just outside the top 10. Hugo Lapalus, the best performing French skier, finished in 11th place, followed by Mathis Desloges in 12th and Victor Lovera in 13th. This result not only underscores Norway’s continued dominance on the international circuit but also provides a promising outlook for the upcoming World Championships in Trondheim, Norway, scheduled for February 26 to March 9.
