In the men's 10 km cross-country skiing race held in Cogne, the Swedish team fell short of a podium finish. Edvin Anger came very close, finishing just four seconds behind third place, which went to a Norwegian athlete, resulting in a clean sweep for the Norwegians on the podium.

Despite the missed opportunity for a Swedish medal, Radiosporten expert Torgny Mogren highlighted the impressive effort of 26-year-old Gustaf Berglund, who finished in seventh place. Mogren described Berglund's performance as "a really class race," emphasizing the quality and determination shown during the competition.

This race is one of several international events covered by Sveriges Radio's sports programming, reflecting top-level competition in cross-country skiing.
