Northug's Tribute to Klaebo: "Touching to Experience Him Up Close"
Petter Northug paid tribute to Johannes Høsflot Klaebo after he made history by winning gold in Saturday's 50 km race at the World Championships.
Northug called Klaebo a potential all-time great, perhaps even greater than himself, expressing how moving it was to witness his achievements closely. He also acknowledged Swedish skier William Poromaa for pushing Klaebo to his limits in the competition.
