No Frida Karlsson in Holmenkollen – resting after VM success
Frida Karlsson, VM gold medalist in the 50 km race, will not compete in this weekend's World Cup events in Oslo.
"Frida Karlsson is skipping Oslo to recover for the World Cup finale in Lahti," said national team manager Anders Byström in a press release.
Calle Halfvarsson will also miss the Oslo competitions after falling ill during the VM. The Oslo competition includes two distance races, 20 km and 10 km (classic style and freestyle, respectively) with interval start for both distances.
