No Frida Karlsson at World Cup in Holmenkollen

This weekend, Frida Karlsson clinched a World Championship gold medal in the 50 km event held in Trondheim. However, she will not be in the lineup for the upcoming World Cup competitions in Holmenkollen.

Karlsson, who recently achieved success at the World Championships, has decided to withdraw from the Oslo event to recover for the final World Cup weekend in Lahti.

Landslagschef Anders Byström stated, "Frida Karlsson is opting out of Oslo to recuperate and focus on the World Cup finals in Lahti."

Notably absent from the competition will also be Calle Halfvarsson, who continues to deal with health issues that forced him to leave the World Championships early. Additionally, both Jens Burman and the injured Linn Svahn will not compete.
