Hoff is present at Beitostølen as his wife Johaug begins her journey towards the Ski World Championships in Trondheim in three months. To make their plans work, the Hoff/Johaug family had to make significant arrangements.

While Johaug is fully focused on skiing, Hoff has parental leave from his full-time job as an anesthesiologist at Ahus. "Her dreams are my dreams and vice versa. You can’t do this halfway if you have the ambitions she has. We just have to arrange for it," said Hoff.

Earlier this week, Johaug revealed that she had to pull the emergency brake in October during a treadmill training session after realizing it had become too much. Hoff noticed that something was off and acted accordingly.

Following a serious discussion, Hoff made adjustments, taking parental leave and rearranging their living situation to ensure Johaug could focus on her training, highlighting their partnership in pursuing their respective dreams.

Johaug has been a dominant figure in skiing, and with Hoff supporting her, they have prepared for the upcoming challenges they face as a couple in the competitive world of sports.
