CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
Sweden's star skiers have made headlines by pulling out of the weekend's World Cup competitions. Previously, notable athletes such as Frida Karlsson, Ebba Andersson, Linn Svahn, and Calle Halfvarsson indicated they would not compete. Now, Maja Dahlqvist follows suit, citing a cold as her reason for withdrawal.
The Swedish Ski Federation announced, "She is symptom-free, but is not ready to compete just yet."
