Mogren Critical After Swedish Disappointment: 'A Tough Day'

It was a tough day for the Swedish skiers as the Tour de Ski kicked off with the sprint. After 23 consecutive sprint competitions where a Swedish athlete stood on the podium, that streak came to an end.

"Today was one of those tough days where everything went wrong," said Radiosporten expert Torgny Mogren after Swedish racer Maja Dahlqvist, the only one to reach the final, broke a pole and finished last.

"There should have easily been a couple of girls in the final and maybe one on the podium, definitely," Mogren continued.
