The Tour de Ski victors, Therese Johaug and Johannes Høsflot Klæbo, have struck gold with a remarkable financial windfall. Each of these elite athletes has drawn in around 1.3 million kronor following their stellar performance.

The total prize for winning the overall Tour de Ski was nearly one million kronor. Additionally, every stage victory secured each athlete an extra 3,000 Swiss francs, which is roughly equivalent to just under 37,000 kronor, while a sprint win brought in just over 73,000 kronor. This marks the fourth overall win at the Tour de Ski for both Johaug, 36, and Høsflot Klæbo, 28.
