Austrian cross-country skiing star Mika Vermeulen secured another top finish in Falun. The 25‐year‐old from Styria fought hard for podium positions during the 20 km mass start World Cup race on Sunday, eventually finishing sixth, 9.4 seconds behind the leader. The race was won in 48:05.1 minutes by Norwegian Paal Goldberg, with US skier Gus Schumacher coming in a mere 0.3 seconds later, and compatriot Harald Östberg Amundsen another 0.9 seconds behind.
