Linn Svahn, who has numerous victories in the World Cup, has yet to win a championship medal. The 24-year-old skier hopes for revenge this season. "I feel like I've never had a fair chance," she told SVT Sport.

At the 2021 World Championship, Svahn competed despite a severe shoulder injury, and she missed the 2022 Olympics. Upon her return at the 2023 World Championships, she achieved two fourth-place finishes.

The lessons learned over these challenging championship years have been many. Although she narrowly missed medaling at the 2023 World Championship in Planica, she is proud of her performances there. "I learned in 2021 that no matter how good my form is, I can't compete with an injured body. In 2023, I learned that it is possible to perform very well even without optimal preparations. You can't fix a broken doll, but if I am whole, we can achieve a lot in a short time. That's a lesson I took with me."

She hopes the zero on her championship medals will change this season with a focus on the sprint competition at the 2025 World Championships in Trondheim.
