Linn Svahn's performance was not as expected at the Tour de Ski starting in Toblach, where she aimed for victory in the freestyle sprint. Instead, she faced disappointment, finishing third in her quarter-final heat and failing to advance. In a reflection on her performance, she noted that it was worse than anticipated, indicating she felt out of shape compared to her usual standards, especially after dealing with illness this season.

Despite this setback, Svahn remained optimistic, stating, "The good thing about the tour is that there are many races," which allows her to aim for better results in the upcoming competitions. Teammates, including Moa Lundgren, were equally surprised, noting how unexpected her early exit was.

In the wake of her performance, Svahn sought some alone time to process her feelings in a tent after the race. As she prepares for future events, she expressed a keen determination to bounce back.
