Linn Svahn aims to make an immediate impact in the Tour de Ski, which will kick off with a sprint in freestyle. Her goal is to win the sprint and take the lead in the overall competition.

Anders Byström, the national team coach, has highlighted Svahn as one of the favorites to win the entire tour. In an interview with SVT Sport, she expressed, "That’s the goal, of course. My most important races are the sprint competitions, and I want to have a complete sprint this time."

Svahn recalls her last sprint where she had an unfortunate exit in Ruka, emphasizing her wish for a successful day and her ambition to compete for victory. She is particularly eager to participate after missing the World Cup events in Lillehammer and Davos, having only missed five days of training, which she feels won’t significantly impact her performance.

Last year, she finished sixth overall in the Tour, gaining three stage victories, solidifying her potential in the competition.
