Kläbo Wins Overall World Cup – Undefeated in Sprint

Johannes Høsflot Kläbo is the winner of the overall World Cup. The Norwegian triumphed in the evening sprint in Tallinn, thus remaining unbeaten in sprints this season.

In the tough final, Edvin Anger competed against sprint kings Johannes Høsflot Kläbo, Harald Östberg Amundsen, Erik Valnes, Federico Pellegrino, and Jules Chappaz.

Anger had a strong start and initially took the lead in the final.

The Swedish skier seemed to have found his form following strong quarter and semi-final performances and put pressure on his competitors.

However, as the race progressed, the favorites began to assert their dominance.

As he has so many times before, Johannes Høsflot Kläbo displayed world-class performance in the decisive moments.

Anger's thoughts: "It felt terrible all day"

The Norwegian zoomed past to secure yet another sprint victory, his eighth in the World Cup this season.

His fellow countryman Harald Östberg Amundsen shared second place with the Frenchman Jules Chappaz, while Anger fell back to fifth place at the finish.

– I gave it my all today. Still happy to perform so well despite feeling terrible the whole day, says Edvin Anger to Viaplay.

He notes that he has been fatigued but managed to fight in the final.

– Perhaps I should have waited a little longer before pushing in the last lap, but I started to struggle a bit towards the end.
