Jonna Sundling and Frida Karlsson will miss the Salpausselkä races

Jonna Sundling and Frida Karlsson will not be participating in the World Cup finale at Salpausselkä this season. Sundling triumphed in the Trondheim World Championships with wins in the sprint, team sprint, and relay events but is unwell and is planning to prepare for the national championships at the beginning of April.
Frida Karlsson, who has also showcased exceptional performances this season, clinched World Championships in both the 50 kilometers and relay, but she is not fully recovered for the next 50-kilometer event after the World Championships. Sweden's national coach, Stefan Thomson, shared that Karlsson will focus on rehabilitation and building her fitness base for the upcoming training season.
The Swedish team for the Salpausselkä races will include: - Sprint (W): Maja Dahlqvist, Johanna Hagström, Moa Ilar, Moa Lundgren, Emma Ribom, Märta Rosenberg - Sprint (M): Edvin Anger, Emil Danielsson, Anton Grahn, George Ersson, Johan Häggström, Måns Skoglund - 50 km (W): Ebba Andersson, Maja Dahlqvist, Moa Ilar, Emma Ribom, Märta Rosenberg, Sofia Henriksson - 50 km (M): Edvin Anger, Gustaf Berglund, Jens Burman, Truls Gisselman, Leo Johansson, William Poromaa.
The final teams for the team sprint will be decided on Friday.
