Jonna Sundling Dominates Sprint Qualification in Lillehammer

Jonna Sundling was dominant in the sprint qualification in Lillehammer, finishing the race six seconds ahead of Finnish competitor Jasmi Joensuu. At 29, Sundling displayed exceptional skill on the 1.3 km course, overtaking Norwegian Tiril Udnes Weng, who started 15 seconds ahead of her. Teammate Moa Ilar expressed that Sundling's performance was not surprising. All six Swedish women advanced from the qualification, including Märta Rosenberg, Johanna Hagström, Emma Ribom, Moa Ilar, and Moa Lundgren, with Lundgren excited to compete after missing the previous race in Ruka. Additionally, Norwegian star Kristine Stavås Skistad returned to the competition after health issues, securing fourth place in the qualification, 6.65 seconds behind Sundling.
