Norwegian skier Johannes Klaebo, a double Olympic champion and triple World Champion in the sprint specialty, delivered a masterful performance in Falun, Sweden, on Friday. With the best time in the qualifications, he advanced decisively through the quarter and semi-finals before powering his way to an effortless win in the final, registering his 64th World Cup victory.

Klaebo’s remarkable display saw him finish well ahead of his compatriots, Erik Valnes and Oskar Vike, who completed the podium. The success in Falun not only reinforces his status as the uncontested king of the sprint but also makes him the clear favorite for the upcoming World Championships in Trondheim, scheduled from February 26 to March 9, 2025.

In the women's race, Swedish skier Linn Svahn dominated, securing her eighth sprint victory at this level, while among the French competitors, only Léna Quintin managed to progress to the quarter-finals before being eliminated.

This race is another milestone in Klaebo’s illustrious career, further solidifying his reputation on the international cross-country skiing circuit.
