In a thrilling display of skill and speed, Norwegian star Johannes Klaebo claimed victory in the men's sprint event in Minneapolis, USA, during last Saturday's World Cup in cross-country skiing. Performing effortlessly in front of an enthusiastic crowd, Klaebo outpaced fierce competitors Federico Pellegrino and Valerio Grond, securing his 77th career win and his impressive 28th in free sprints.

On the women's side, Jonna Sundling of Sweden celebrated her long-awaited victory, marking her first World Cup win in over a year and the eighth of her career. She crossed the finish line ahead of her fellow countrywoman Linn Svahn and Norway's Kristine Skistad. Meanwhile, Jessie Diggins, the current overall leader, narrowly missed out on a podium finish but is anticipated to stage a comeback in Sunday's 10km event, held in her home territory.
