The World Cup in cross-country skiing is concluding this week. Jasmi Joensuu has the opportunity to secure her victory in the sprint cup.

The World Cup continues in Tallinn on March 19, featuring freestyle technique sprint events. Jasmi Joensuu is looking to confirm her overall win in the sprint cup. She only needs two top 20 finishes in the remaining two sprint races.

This season, Jasmi has cemented her place in the sprint finals, which has raised hopes for her success. National coach Aino-Kaisa Saarinen commented on Joensuu's improved performance this season, stating, "It's been a remarkable rise for her."

The Finnish team for the Tallinn sprints on March 19 includes:

Women:
Jasmi Joensuu, Jasmin Käehärä, Anni Lindroos, Katri Lylynperä, Kerttu Niskanen, and Amanda Saari.

Men:
Emil Liekari, Wiljam Mattila, Niilo Moilanen, Joni Mäki, Verneri Suhonen, and Lauri Vuorinen.

Joensuu's main competitor, Jonna Sundling, who currently ranks second in the sprint cup, will not participate due to illness. Despite the challenges, Joensuu is expected to perform well, especially after strong finishes in the recent World Championships.
