Finnish para cross-country skier Inkki Inola secured a fifth-place finish in the 20 km free style middle-distance race at the Toblach World Championships in Italy. This result comes on the back of his earlier bronze medal in the 10 km classical race at the same championships.

Competing in the visually impaired category, Inola was supported by his guide Arttu Kaario. The race was dominated by American Jake Adicoff, with Frenchman Anthony Chalencon taking the silver and Sweden’s Zebastian Modin earning the bronze.

Looking ahead, Inola is one of Finland’s medal hopes for the Winter Paralympics, scheduled to be held in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo from March 6 to 15, 2026. He now gears up to further his medal collection as para cross-country skiers also gear up for sprint events at the upcoming World Championships in Trondheim.
