But she has a million reasons to be happy with her World Championships performance.

Here’s how much the Swedish skiers earned.

The World Championships in Trondheim turned into a gold fest for the Swedish women’s team, who captured all six gold medals and received not only honor but also a substantial amount of money.

Earnings Breakdown:

  • Ebba Andersson: Approximately 690,000 SEK in prize money, plus 337,500 SEK bonus from the Swedish federation. Total: 1,027,500 SEK.
  • Jonna Sundling: Approximately 625,500 SEK prize, plus 292,500 SEK bonus. Total: 918,000 SEK.
  • Frida Karlsson: Approximately 516,000 SEK prize, plus 217,500 SEK bonus. Total: 733,500 SEK.
  • William Poromaa: Approximately 227,000 SEK from the event and 67,500 SEK bonus for his performances.

The total prize money distributed by the International Ski Federation (FIS) amounted to about 7.7 million SEK, distributed across various events. For individual races, here are details of the prize distribution: - Gold: 24,000 CHF (around 275,000 SEK) - Silver: 15,000 CHF (approximately 172,000 SEK) - Bronze: 9,000 CHF (about 103,000 SEK)

Beyond prize money, the skiers have personal sponsorship deals that can also provide additional financial rewards for their successes.
