Cross-country skiing enthusiasts will notice a significant change in next season's lineup: the storied 50 km race will no longer take place in Holmenkollen but will instead be hosted in Lahti, Finland. This move was confirmed following the International Ski Federation's (FIS) announcement of the finalized program for the upcoming World Cup season.
The World Cup event in Lahti is set for March 22-23, occurring just two weeks after the World Championships wrap up. This relocation is part of a broader effort to adjust the skiing schedule for the upcoming season.
