In a stunning display of skill and determination, American skier Gus Schumacher clinched his first World Cup victory in the men’s 10 km freestyle event, held in Minneapolis. Competing on home turf, Schumacher outpaced a strong field of Norwegian athletes, including Harald Amundsen, Pal Goldberg, and the celebrated Johannes Klaebo. The home crowd's exuberance created an electric atmosphere as they celebrated Schumacher's significant achievement.

On the women’s side, Jonna Sundling from Sweden continued to shine, securing her second victory of the weekend. After dominating the sprint event earlier, she once again showcased her prowess by finishing ahead of fellow Swede Frida Karlsson and American star Jessie Diggins, who fended off a strong challenge from Linn Svahn to claim third place.

In the men’s race, French skier Hugo Lapalus secured an impressive 11th place, while compatriot Jules Chappaz followed closely behind in 15th. The women’s event also saw notable performances, with French competitor Flora Dolci achieving a commendable 7th place finish.
