Frida Karlsson's Positive Update Before the Season Premiere in Bruksvallarna

Frida Karlsson, a star of Swedish cross-country skiing, has shared an optimistic message as she prepares for the season kick-off in Bruksvallarna. After being sidelined by a foot overload injury, she has been undergoing rehabilitation training. Now, with just days to go before the event, Karlsson is hopeful about her participation.

"This week is a first test on snow. I hope it goes well and that I will be on the starting line," she mentioned on the event organizer's Instagram.

Rehabilitation Journey

Karlsson's training faced setbacks this fall, which forced her to adjust her plans. Instead of attending national team training in Italy, she chose to rehabilitate in Tenerife.

"Initially, it was mostly cycling and rehab, but lately, I've been able to do everything in smaller doses. It has exceeded the expectations of both me and my physiotherapist, and we are pleased with the progress," she said.

The Bruksvallarna premiere is set to take place from November 22-24, and will be broadcast on SVT.
