Frida Karlsson Competes in Sweden's Premier Ski Event

Frida Karlsson will be at the starting line for the season premiere in Bruksvallarna this weekend, as reported by Aftonbladet.

"I’m not nervous at all," she told the newspaper.

An overload injury had forced the Swedish star to focus on rehabilitation ahead of the season, but hopes of competing in the Swedish premiere have remained strong. Now, Frida Karlsson has confirmed her attendance at the Bruksvallarna races, having just returned from a training camp in Tenerife.

In preparation for the premiere, Karlsson trained with long-distance skiers from Team Ramudden, working hard to recover from a foot injury sustained during the fall season.

"It feels great to be here. I just want to get started," said Karlsson to Aftonbladet.

The competitions in Bruksvallarna will be broadcasted on SVT, with full airing times available for the weekend.
