Ski de fond: French Team for the 2025 Tour de Ski Revealed, Without Delphine Claudel

On Monday, the French ski federation announced a selection of thirteen skiers for the Tour de Ski, which will take place from December 28 to January 5. Unsurprisingly, Hugo Lapalus and Lucas Chavanat are included, while Delphine Claudel will not participate due to injury.

In this 19th edition of the Tour de Ski, which is entirely held in Italy, five women and eight men will represent the French team. The team members are as follows:

Women:

  • Flora Dolci
  • Mélissa Gal
  • Léonie Perry
  • Julie Pierrel
  • Léna Quintin

Men:

  • Rémi Bourdin
  • Lucas Chanavat
  • Jules Chappaz
  • Sabin Coupat
  • Mathis Desloges
  • Richard Jouve
  • Hugo Lapalus
  • Jules Lapierre

Last year, the French team achieved three victories during the Tour de Ski, including a double by Lucas Chavanat in the sprint events at Tolbach and Davos, and a 10 km victory by Jules Lapierre in Val di Fiemme. This year’s competition features seven events across two stages, starting in Tolbach and concluding in Val di Fiemme, where the skiers will compete in various formats including a classic sprint, a skiathlon, and a mass-start event. The absence of Claudel is a significant loss for the team as they aim to build on last year's successes.
