Four Medals for Finnish Skiers on Day of Winter Universiade

In the Winter Universiade in Turin, Finnish cross-country skiers excelled with a remarkable performance, clinching four medals in total. Inkki Inola triumphed in the visually impaired category, securing his second gold medal with a strong sprint finish in the classic technique.
Inola shared his excitement, stating, "The race went as planned. I started well and managed to create a comfortable margin over my competitors during the first climb. By the final stretch, I didn't need to push too hard and could enjoy celebrating my victory. Huge thanks to my support team for their help!"
Meanwhile, other events of the day included the classic technique sprints for both men and women. Anni Lindroos captured bronze in the women's sprint, and in the men's final, Valtteri Pennanen finished strong to take the silver, with Markus Kasanen securing bronze, showcasing a fantastic day for Finnish skiing athletes!
