Finnish National Ski Team Announced - Iivo and Kerttu Niskanen Not Participating in Training Season

The Finnish Ski Federation has unveiled the rosters for its national teams in cross-country skiing, ski jumping, and Nordic combined.

Kerttu Niskanen will not be joining the national team's training season, with preparations taking place independently instead. In a statement, head coach Teemu Pasanen emphasized the focus on the upcoming Milan-Cortina Olympics as a definitive objective for the season:

• The major target for the upcoming season is to perform well in the Olympics. The training season is geared towards achieving optimal results in those competitions. Our camp schedules are looking good, and daily training will play a crucial role in our domestic programs.

On the women's side, under the direction of Reijo Jylhä, a new cultural approach to training will be developed, with a greater emphasis on collaborative practices. This new cultural shift aims to enhance the training environment for both the youth teams and the B national team.
