Edvin Anger was just a few seconds away from a World Championship medal when the men's 10 km event was held in snowy Trondheim. Anger finished in fourth place, making him the best Swedish performer on that day. However, he met with Radiosporten after the race as a 22-year-old with mixed emotions, saying: "I’m doing the race of my life, but the conditions really didn’t suit me at all. But I’m showing that I’m competitive. It’s so frustrating when I’m just three seconds away from a World Championship medal."
