Ebba Andersson wins in Bruksvallarna

Ebba Andersson took her first victory of the season at the Sweden premiere in Bruksvallarna. The 27-year-old excelled during the second half of the 10-kilometer race.

"It was a good workout," she said in the SVT broadcast.

Andersson clinched the victory in Bruksvallarna after a tough race, saying, "Of course, it's challenging; I'm not used to competing with a bib on."

Initially, it seemed there might be a dramatic finish, with Andersson half a second behind Frida Karlsson midway through the race. However, Andersson produced a powerful performance in the latter half and finished 11.8 seconds ahead of Karlsson.

"Frida maintains a very high level, so it's a good gauge for me to have her competing," Andersson remarked.

In her comeback after injuries and overloading during the preseason, Karlsson seemed pleased with her performance, stating, "I'm really satisfied, way above expectations."

Jonna Sundling, who won the sprint event on Friday, also performed well, finishing third, 33.8 seconds behind the winner.
