Dahlqvist ill – Missing the Sprint

Swedish sprint star Maja Dahlqvist will not participate in the World Cup sprint scheduled for Saturday in Lillehammer, Norway. The reason for her absence is that the 30-year-old is experiencing cold symptoms, which means she will remain in Trondheim instead of competing. Moa Ilar will replace her in the sprint event.
Dahlqvist had a strong performance last week, finishing third in Ruka, where her teammate Johanna Hagström secured her first career World Cup victory in the sprint season opener.
