Edvin Anger showcased remarkable talent during the Trollhättan Action Week, solidifying his prowess in cross-country skiing. After triumphing in the sprints the previous day, he went on to secure victory in the Alliansloppet, a grueling 48-kilometer race. The win was hard-fought, culminating in a nail-biting sprint finish against British competitor Andrew Musgrave, with Anger narrowly clinching the triumph.

In the final stretch, Musgrave was hot on Anger's heels, intensifying the competition right up to the finish line. Anger finally crossed in 1:44:45, finishing just a ski tip ahead of Musgrave.

Notably, Swedish skier Calle Halfvarsson faced a more challenging outing. After withdrawing from the sprints earlier, he returned for the Alliansloppet but struggled to find his rhythm, finishing in 23rd place, over two minutes behind Anger.

In the women’s division, Sweden faced a tough battle, with Hanna Lodin being the top Swedish finisher at fourth place. Norwegian athlete Magni Smedås emerged victorious in the women’s race, completing the course in an impressive 2:06:56.
