Moa Lundgren has expressed increased sensitivity following her concussion incident in August, yet she remains hopeful to participate in all three races during the opening weekend in Bruksvallarna next week. Speaking to SVT Sport, the 26-year-old shared her anticipation for entering a competitive arena filled with stimulating experiences.
The concussion occurred on August 16 when Lundgren crashed while roller skiing. By late September, she was facing difficulties even with daily tasks due to her condition, although her training had been progressing well. "Things have improved significantly, and I have attended training camps, taking everything step by step. I'm looking forward to competing in an environment full of impressions," said Lundgren, who is currently in Bruksvallarna, contending with limited snow availability.
Despite the concussion's impact, Lundgren aims to tackle all three events in Bruksvallarna with the larger goal of competing in the upcoming World Championships set in Trondheim. She also stated her desire to compete in future events in Ruka and Lillehammer.
