Tuisku expressed excitement on Instagram, commending his ability to maintain a competitive edge and likening the sport to a significant personal challenge. His original goal was to compete in the Taivalkoski event in April 2025, but he now plans to participate in the Imatra championships in January, also in the classic technique.

The day's women’s race was won by Eveliina Toivanen, while Tuisku remains determined to match the speed of Finland's top female ski competitors. He noted that even a few months ago, he wouldn't have imagined setting such lofty aspirations for himself, highlighting his progress and enthusiasm for the sport.
