Antti Tuisku competes again – lamented his ski choice: "So wrong"

Antti Tuisku, representing his own ski team AT-Ski Team, participated in the 9 km free competition at the National Ski Championship in Mäntsälä, coming in fifth place among nine competitors with a time of 29:44.9. However, he fell significantly behind the winner, Markus Välimäki, by almost four minutes, and missed the podium by two minutes.

Before the race, Tuisku expressed doubts about his ski selection on Instagram, stating that the choices he made did not work out as intended. "Now my ski choice went as wrong as it possibly could. I learned lessons from this too," he lamented after the competition.

Tuisku initially competed in the 10 km classic race in January, where he finished in 142nd place among 151 participants. He is now set to aim for the 10 km free style championship in Taivalkoski in April, after which he plans to end his competitive skiing career.
