Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, 28, is officially back after undergoing heart surgery. The star biathlete has been selected for the Norwegian squad to compete in the World Cup in Oberhof, Germany.
Tandrevold’s season was paused after she experienced irregular heart rhythms. Last week, the national team announced that the athlete had successfully undergone a heart operation. Now, there is a chance that she could be seen competing again in a relatively short time.
"Ingrid has been included in our team, and we hope she is ready following her heart operation last week. However, the final assessment will be made as the competitions approach," said team leader Per Arne Botnan according to Norwegian media outlet VG.
