Johannes Thingnes Bø recovered after a challenging Saturday and climbed to the podium. He was taken by surprise by a tribute from rival Sebastian Samuelsson on the podium after his performance.

After serving the shocking news that he would retire, Johannes Thingnes Bø secured third place in the mass start race at Rupholding. The victory went to Italian Tommaso Giacomel, while Sturla Holm Lægreid secured second place.
After the race, Thingnes Bø was pleased with the outcome. “A podium is good in itself. I must admit that a lot has happened in the last 24 hours. I am proud of this podium finish,” Bø stated.
Bø finished strong even after missing a shot when shooting for victory on the last round. On that final lap, he chased Lægreid but ultimately had to concede second place.
Receiving Tribute
During the award ceremony, Thingnes Bø was interviewed on the highest step of the podium. When it was Swedish Sebastian Samuelsson's turn, who finished fourth, he grabbed the microphone and rallied the crowd, shouting, **“zigge-zagge-zigge-zagge,
