Martin Ponsiluoma struggled with groin problems throughout the entire last season, which he underwent surgery for after the season ended. Now he is ready for a new winter with a pain-free body.

– I’m incredibly happy that it feels as good as it does, Ponsiluoma told SVT Sport.

It was exactly one year ago, before the Sweden premiere in Idre, that Martin Ponsiluoma, 29, encountered problems with his groin that plagued him throughout the last season.

– I was a bit nervous stepping on the snow, it was here last year that I had my troubles, Ponsiluoma said.

He underwent surgery in the spring and is now back with full strength.

– I’ve never had any setbacks; everything has gone according to plan so I’m incredibly satisfied with how good I feel. Ponsiluoma did not secure any podium finishes last season, listen to him above on what he thinks he needs to improve this winter.

SVT will broadcast the Sweden premiere in Idre on November 16-17.
